
Tyler Riha had 15 saves but the Effingham County boys soccer fell 3-0 to the unbeaten Glynn Academy Red Terrors on Tuesday.
“The guys played a great game against a great team,” Rebels coach Blake Kessler said.
Glynn improved to 7-0 on the season and 5-0 in Region 2-AAAA. The Red Terrors have allowed only two goals all season.
Effingham fell to 5-2 on the season and 0-2 in the region.
Glynn’s girls won 4-0 behind two goals from Alli Brashear. The Lady Rebels fell to 3-2-1 on the season and 3-1 in the region. Glynn improved to 7-1-1 overall and 5-0 in the region.
Effingham will host Statesboro today and host Brunswick on Tuesday.
