The Effingham County Rebels hung on to complete their sweep of Bradwell Institute and give themselves a chance for a return to the Class AAAAA state baseball playoffs. Effingham took the third and final game of their series with the Tigers 8-7 on Friday in a storm-shortened six innings. The Rebels won 13-3 in six innings, via the mercy rule, last Wednesday.
